Data lineage and reconciliation review
A structured trace of material figures from source system extracts through mappings and calculations to the line that appears on the filed report.
Compliance reporting platforms fail quietly when a mapping table, a chart-of-accounts roll-up, or a late extract is wrong. This review reconstructs the path of selected figures so finance can see, in writing, how a number on the return was formed.
We agree a materiality threshold and a list of report families with you at scoping. For each selected line we obtain the source extract, the transformation rule, any manual journal or overlay, and the final cell or XML tag. Breaks are documented with the period they first appear, not only the period under review.
The deliverable is a lineage pack your team can reuse at the next close, plus a reconciliation log of unresolved differences. It is not a data-migration project and it is not software implementation.
