Remediation verification
Re-testing of findings after your team has changed mappings, access, or calculation rules in the reporting application.
Closing a finding on paper is not the same as proving the application now behaves. Once you tell us a change is in production, we re-run the original test — or a tightened version of it — against a new report run.
Verification covers only the findings named in the prior letter, unless you extend the scope. We look for the same class of error in adjacent report lines when the original defect was a mapping or standing-data issue.
You receive an updated findings schedule: closed, open, or closed with residual risk. This engagement is available to clients we audited and, by arrangement, to entities whose prior work was done by another firm, provided we can see the original evidence.
